Bacon-Wrapped Goat Cheese Stuffed Avocados
Ingredients
- 3 medium ripe avocados
- 2/3 c. (150 g) creamy goat cheese
- 1 large clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp (2 ml) thyme
- 1 package of duBreton Black Forest bacon
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit and set aside.
- In a small bowl, mix together the goat cheese, garlic and thyme.
- Spoon the mixture into the center of the avocados. Spoon out some avocado flesh if necessary.
- Wrap each avocado half with two slices of bacon.
- Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake until bacon is slightly crispy (about 20 to 30 minutes).
