Traditionally used in Herbal Medicine to help relieve symptoms of minor digestive disturbances such as flatulence (gas).Duration of use:For use beyond 4 weeks, consult a health care practitioner. Cautions/Warnings:Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen; prior to use if you have a liver disorder; anemia or gallstones; if you suffer from heartburn and/or acid reflux. Contraindications:Do not use: if you have a seizure (e.g. epilepsy); if you are pregnant or breastfeeding; if you are taking thiazide diuretics, cardiac glycosides, corticosteroids, stimulant laxatives or other medications which may aggravate electrolyte imbalance; if you have hyperkalemia, high blood pressure, kidney or cardiovascular disorder; if you are allergic to plants of the Apiaceae/Carrot family such as fennel, anise, caraway, etc. Known Adverse Reaction:Hypersensitivity (e.g. allergy) has been known to occur, in which case discontinue use.
