Fried rice with sauteed vegetables and teriyaki bites
Ingredients

TO TOP:


  • 1 bunch of green onions
  • 2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 lime


Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 onion diced
  • 3 minced garlic cloves
  • 4 cups of diced green vegetables(broccoli,zucchini, celery, green peas, cabbage, bell pepper, etc..)
  • 3 cups cooked day old brown rice from @marchetau
  • 1 large handful of chopped iceberg lettuce
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon of toasted sesame oil 
  • 1/4 teaspoon of 4 spice mix
  • 1 pack of unfrosted VG gourmet teriyaki bites


Preparation:

  1. In a large wok or saute pan, over medium-high heat, brown the onion in vegetable oil
  2. When translucent, add the garlic and green vegetables
  3. Add half of the soy sauce. Once nicely colored, add the rice, and the other half of the soy sauce, as well as the sesame oil, 4 spices mix, and the teriyaki bites.
  4. Add the iceberg lettuce and let it wilt.
  5. serve in a bowl with green onions, toasted sesame seeds and lime juice.
