Riz Frit aux Légumes Sautés

Stir-Fried Vegetable Rice and Teriyaki Bites


Ingredients

FOR THE FILLING:

• 1 bunch green onions
• 2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
• 1 lime

FOR THE FRIED RICE:

• 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
• 1 onion, diced
• 3 cloves garlic, minced
• 4 cups diced green vegetables (broccoli, zucchini, celery, green peas, cabbage, bell pepper, etc.)
• 3 cups brown rice
• 1 large handful chopped iceberg lettuce
• 2 tablespoons soy sauce
• 1/2 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
• 1/4 teaspoon all-spice blend
• 1 package VG Gourmet Teriyaki Bites

Directions:

1. In a large wok or sauté pan, heat medium-high heat, sauté the onion in vegetable oil.
2. When translucent, add the garlic and green vegetables.
3. Add half of the soy sauce. Once nicely colored, add the rice, the other half of the soy sauce, the sesame oil, the 4 spices and the teriyaki bites.
4. Mix and let the rice fry before mixing again.
5. Finally, add the iceberg lettuce and let wilt.
6. Serve in a bowl with green onions, toasted sesame seeds and lime juice!
